Jagdish Maheshwari

An engineer by education and IT expert by profession, Jagdish is a fine blend of corporate experience with a zeal for entrepreneurship. Jagdish completed his Post Graduate engineering degree from IIT Kanpur in late 80’s and started corporate career with the Indian iconic IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) where he spent over 10 years in a number of overseas assignments in UK and USA. His next stint was with the fourth largest Indian IT company HCL Technologies Ltd (HCL) where he built a successful 13 year long career as Business Unit Head of multiple industry verticals and also led M&A team to acquire two overseas companies - one UK based and another one in USA.

It was during his career with HCL that Jagdish began to notice lack of personal finance knowledge and awareness amongst his peers and colleagues. He witnessed both ‘Y2K boom’ and ‘dotcom bust’ era of IT which led a number of his colleagues to financial troubles due to lack of financial planning. He started putting together building blocks of a social co-preneurship firm to help people across all age groups live a pleasant life in the present and be confident about the future. He devised his own personal finance management system of processes and software tools. He practiced it on himself over the years; refining and polishing.

He realized that there are number of people who go through distress due to money issues and who can get benefited by his program. So he left a successful corporate career to venture into personal finance domain. He enhanced his personal finance domain knowledge by acquiring Certified Personal Finance Advisor (CPFA) qualification by National institute of Securities Markets (NISM) established SEBI. His more than 25 years of international corporate experience, personal finance knowledge, IT expertise and proven skills of building wealth from grounds up is an unique combination that he is now offering through Finscholarz.
